I'm Raymond Sam, a growth marketer turned builder based in Toronto. I've spent 15 years growing B2B startups through paid acquisition, SEO, conversion optimization, and demand generation. Since 2018 I've managed over$20M in ad spend across 50+ companies that have generated more than$400M in revenue.

I led Demand Generation at Wave, scaling from a $1,000 test budget to millions in spend and 3x'ing trials before Wave was acquired by H&R Block for $537 million. I've since worked with companies including Ritual, Collage HR, Exactuals, Financeit, Magnet Forensics, Ledn, and Loop.

Today I split my time between consulting with B2B companies on growth and building my own bootstrapped products — 30characters, a PPC tool for agencies, and Banter, ice breakers for Slack. I work across the full stack: ads, marketing ops, conversion, and the AI workflows that help lean teams ship faster.
